"worth" の使い方を教えてください。"It is worth 300 dollars." や "This camp is worth going." といった言い方でよいのでしょうか？ "worth" の前には必ず be動詞がくるのですか？

前置詞の "worth" は確かに be動詞といっしょに使われるのがふつうです。後ろには何かの価値をさす名詞句が続くことがあります。
例："His paintings are worth thousands of dollars."
「彼の絵は数千ドルの値打ちがある」
"This is a great CD, well worth the money."
「このCDはすごい。値段だけの価値は充分ある」
何かの活動の価値について言うとき、"worth" は動詞の ing形とともに用いられます。強調をあらわす "well" を伴うこともあります。
例："This camp is definitely worth going to."
「このキャンプは絶対行く価値があるよ」
"It's worth asking Barry for advice."
「バリーのアドバイスは一聴の価値がある」
不可算名詞の "worth" は「価値」あるいは「重要性」をさし、そのものずばりの意味で使われます。しかし登場する頻度は多くありません。
例："The price does not represent the company's true worth."
「その価格からはその会社の本当の価値はわからない」
名詞 "worth" は金額や時間をあらわす所有格の後で使われるのがふつうです。
例："I have two weeks' worth of newspapers I haven't read yet."
「まだ読んでない新聞が２週間分たまっている」
"Could I have a bouquet for ＄20 worth."
「花束20ドル分お願いします」
